Rongoānuku was born from our connection to Rongoā Māori and Papatūānuku, our Earth Mother. Nuku holds dual meaning — honouring both our lineage and a reminder of our deep connection to the earth.

About the Founder

Kia ora

Ko Ani Nuku toku ingoa.

He uri ahau no Ngati Awa, Ngati Pukeko, Ngai Tuhoe me Nga Puhi.

I’m a romiromi and reiki practitioner based in Whakatane, Aotearoa (NZ).  I draw inspiration from matauranga Māori and traditional practices in creating my products.

The rongoā I create takes a more modern approach — unique, intentional, and designed for the way we live today.

My journey into rongoä was inspired by my late mother who always had a remedy on hand and opened my eyes to the world of healing.  She still plays a big part in some of the imaginative and fun ideas I come up with.   

When I’m not brewing up concoctions, I’m with my whanau (family), my dogs and soaking up any opportunities to learn in whatever form that takes.
